Gender neutrality in California schools

According to this article, California is again proposing to ban such terms as "mom" and "dad".
My question is, how can you expect to teach kids when reality has no place in the schools, and political correctness rules?
Here are the bills referenced in the article:
SB 777
AB 394
AB 675

I just read that this is back again. Arnold vetoed it last year but the legislature is trying again. If this ever passes then I'm going to have to go private or homeschooling for our children. I hate to do it but I would have no choice.

Here are the homeschool laws in CA.

Not bad - slightly less regulated than my own state of CO.  Sounds like the good guys have won a few lawsuits that make homeschooling easier.

Thanks for sharing. If this passes this time around I'll probably be asking for more info from you Homeschoolers.

Animals should be in protest over this egregious discrimination against them... if they are going to pass gender neutral measures, they should also have species neutral laws in place as well.

Else what are all those poor, offspring of mutant squirrels going to do? They now have no homes or parents, and are wards of the state... without species neutral mandates in place, there will be no acceptance of them in the hearts or minds of the people...

Part of the reason for the flood (my understanding) is that children had no chance to grow up in righteousness, sounds like we are on the fast track there.

Arrggghhh!  I can't handle another flood, especially if Kevin Costner is running around on a Catamaran!!!!!

Don't worry, Jason, the Lord promised never to flood the whole earth again -- and put the rainbow in the sky as a reminder of his promise.

The next destruction is by fire.

Edited to correct spelling.

Now there's a movie that didn't so much ask you to suspend disbelief as it asked disbelief to quietly go out back and shoot itself. There were sooooo many things in that film that strain credulity. For instance, he can filter urine, but he can't filter seawater? Also, the human body can get benefit from water with up to 2% salt content. The sea has 3% salt content. Don't you think that if the world were permanently flooded to the point where there was no land visible, that maybe the salt content would drop below 2%? Also, supposedly sufficient time has passed that the concept of an abovewater landmass has passed into myth. Yet the fuel that the oilers have hasn't gotten old in all that time? And their ship is immune to metal fatigue? And they are somehow immune to scurvy and can survive on just smeat? And people still grow food and pay high prices for land to be able to do so, but none of them has ever seen a landmass? Where is all the dirt coming from to grow their plants?

Sorry for the derail.

He obviously liked the flavor better.  It reminded him of poo crystals...

Waterworld was basically Mad Max on the high seas but without a good plot, strange Aussie actors, or talent.
