We have a job opening at our business. If you know someone in your ward that is looking for employment please forward this info to them. We are looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic. Before you toss this in the trash, the minimum wage for a trained mechanic with their own tools in California is $15 per hour and goes up to $16 per hour next year. The job is in central California which is a rural area so freeway traffic jams don't fit here. We are about 1 hour drive from the Fresno California temple. In addition to base pay we also offer incentive pay, health insurance, 401K, paid vacation. The job is working on farm equipment both in our shop and in the field. The job is full time Monday-Friday with occassional Saturday if things get backed up. A top mechanic can rake in 50k per year if they perform. We've been in business 100 years and have had multiple generation customers and employees. If the job candidate looked really good (trained and well experienced), we would even offer $500 to help with relocating expenses. The cost of living in this part of California is significantly less than the other areas of the state too. If you are interested or know someone who is interested you can email me at sales@ortons.com and I can get you more info.
