Does it also cause Global Warming?

I noticed this discussion over at the place across the river. As a type 2 diabetic (controlled by diet and exercise, or at least I'm supposed to be ), I applaud when folks take stock of the amount of additional sugars and the like they are taking into their system and realize that things may be out of moderation, but the link Coco added that was showing the "evils" of sugar got old after about 10 items...rolleyes (as in I get to be the first one to use the emoticon here and I'm just thinking "oh brother" about the list)

We've talked about how we can blame everything on Global Warming, but what is the real cause of Global Warming? I put forth that based on the list Coco linked, we can blame it on sugar consumption. See, sugars contain carbon...

The global warming folks won't be happy until we are living on lettuce & broccolli and riding bicycles everywhere we go.

We'd better get our 3 months supply.... or more... we'lll need to help others when the time comes.

A vegetarian diet and a health-promoting, non-polluting, inexpensive, and efficient form of transportation is bad because...

Cuz we will no longer be able to have hamburgers or steaks or babyback ribs or fish or chicken nuggets and we'll all get the lettuce runs and massive broccolli flatulence... (note, I have nothing against bicycle transportation, even though I'm too lazy to get mine off the garage ceiling and go for a ride ) and we'll all eventually be eating soylent yellow and when the source of that starts to die, we'll be introduced to soylent green.

See, the impotency in your ability to focus is cause by too much sugar.

Just trying to help.

Buy Algore's carbon credits and eat all the sugar you want.

Also... Roper...

At present I'm doing gaspacho for lunch everyday... the cucumbers give me flatulence... that should be reason enough.

You know, I think I could be happy eating Greek salad and homemade bread for the rest of my life.  Okay, maybe a little fish once in a while.  I shoulda been born somewhere along the Mediterranean.
