About a week ago, the wife and a daughter let out a scream as they saw a critter about 2 to 3 inches long that looked something like this scamper along the baseboard in the family room.
As it was about 9:30 in the evening, I was already in my pj's as well, and had no shoes on, so I picked up the closest blunt object or show and pounded upon the thing beast until it was dead... I then had the pleasure of cleaning it up off the carpet and off the blunt object.
Seems we get one or two of these little beasties every spring or summer in about the same place. They must come up from the crawl space, because we don't see them anywhere else in the house, not even the basement.
Anyway, there are certain types of creeping things (mostly of the insect type) that I truely wonder sometimes what the full measure of their creation is and how it is they have joy.
