Upon whom do you think this condemnation sits?  My guess is the Pope really hates Spain, for all those spanish conquistadors who conquered the people of the Americas with disease,  brutality and plundered their gold for wealth, country and their god...

My new T-Shirt is going to say:

"I'm a product of the British Empire and Viking Imperialism and I feel fine!"

Seriously though. I would rather live in the British Empire, the French Empire, the Spanish Empire, or even the Roman Empire than Iran, Saudi Arabia, Zimbabwe, Liberia, Cuba, Venenzuala, Russia, China, Vietnam, North Korea, Cambodia, ect.

I find it interesting to contrast the spiritual messages coming from the living prophet and this particular very politically active man. Perhaps there's a good reason why the church stays out of political affairs unless absolutely necessary...
