Apparently animal activists are claiming a baby polar bear cub must die because it is becoming "tainted" by human treatment... or some such nonsense... heard a blurb about this on the radio today... apparently the activists are appalled by the fact that this bear is not being euthanized because it was taken from the wild or some such nonsense... and therefore... err... it's the only humane thing to do... is kill it... cuz it might actually like being captive... or something... losing braincells... just trying to relate... circular logic... does... not... compute... PETA... durrrrrrrrr.... 

Oh yeah, and somehow the bear has become the symbol of global warming...

brain...

...exploding!...

Here's an article about it. Isn't it funny that they always say that killing an animal is the same thing as murder, but they're all for it when that's what nature would have done?

I would think it entirely fair to level that same comment against Mormons... it may be they have a different value base in which they accept as truth values that differ from your own...

Ummm... the folks in this news story Ray is referencing (but didn't link to, I saw it on Fox News)... they're german... most likely Green party members... most likely humanists and athiests... and they probably live comfortable, sophisticated lives...

You would have an easier time teaching someone who has grown up muslim about Christ's divinity than convincing these people they are thinking out of their rear end... FWIW
