It's long, but it has a lot of truth to it. We do (speaking generally) worship celebrities too much. And there is no doubting that many celebrities are just messed up.

I think people outside Hollywood are just as likely as those in Hollywood to mess up their lives. There are many, many successful Hollywood types that have no problems. When they do mess up, the media makes a circus out of it. When someone messes up in your community, no one usually notices or cares.
Because we all secretly harbor a desire to be in the Great and Spacious Building...
Oh sure, we want the fruit of the tree of life, but there are times when we look up at that cool-looking structure and think, it'd be so great to wear party-hats like they have...

We have the great and spacious building right down the road from my house. You can see it clearly as you drive by. It is surrounded by farm ground. People drive from all over the state to the middle of nowhere to get into it. If you want to see it check out http://www.thepalace.net/ There is no city here nor any other businesses.
We have our own great and spacious building here too...

And, I confess I have been there thrice... once as a work perk to see the large men who bounce a spherical object made of leather upon wooden floors and elevate it through a metal circular object with netting... once as a present to my beloved and me by a young brother by law and his betrothed to observe five Canadien men who produce sound from a variety of auditory creation devices and whose name suggest they have a fixation with undressed members of the opposite gender... and once, yea verily, even by the teacher of my home who felt it wise to corrupt my family and his at seeing a variety of individuals in garrish attire interacting with all manner of devices to inspire awe and an assortment of equine and pachyderm species...
And, I indeed am dumbfounded that the great and awesome makers of music whose name is biblical, and indeed at the beginning, will be calling many to the great and spacious building upon a sabbath in September... Guess I won't be going...
