I guess I shouldn't envy you, because envy is not a christlike emotion. But I do wish I had been there. When in the presence of an Apostle you feel the Lord's presence very strongly. I met Elder Scott once, and I would trust him implicitly. I felt the love of the Lord very strongly from him. I enjoyed talking with him. He seemed genuinely interested in me and my family. He very much embodies those virtues the Savior wants us to have.

Every General Authority, be he of the Quorum of The Twelve Apostles or of The Seventy, I've ever personally met has always exuded that same spirit and atmosphere. It must be terribly draining, so it is a good thing they are renewed.
I don't know if I will ever be on a similar level of spirituality, but it is certainly something that is good to strive for.

Whom the Lord calls the Lord qualifies. Don't discount yourself, Cat. You have yet to do many great things in the Kingdom of our Lord... all you need do is believe that Christ can work miracles in you. These are men who dedicate their lives to obtaining and following the Spirit, the Spirit makes them great. You too can do the same, though you may never hold the same keys.
